Train Up A Champion Leadership Institute

Train Up A Champion was founded in Texas in 2007 by Angela Davidson (now) Weathers and asserted into the educational system in 2012. With new collaborative team member in Ray Weathers as the Vice President and Sports Leadership Executive Director, the dynamic duo are teamed up together with many of their colleagues and former students to reach more amateur and professional athletes, talents, and business organizations alike to provide beyond the experiences in life, education, and sport that would expose talents and intellects a performance-based arena to grow and exhibit their niche in the world. Since then the ambassadors for positive, change, and exponential growth have expanded TUAC's niche within every level of education. The mission of TUAC is to provide participants with a distinct, relatable performance-based institutional variety of courses, experiences, and programs to prepare, equip and enhance servant leadership productivity through the ministry of academia, athletics, arts, and apprenticeship. The territorial expansion to the West Coast has allocated for additional, professional panel members to join in bringing the leadership institute to a total of nearly 40 years experience and an opportunity to reach one of the accredited charter organizations as well as public schools in the Mid-west. The genesis of the institution began with the execution of strategic on and off-court/playing field courses and programs and business platforms that established a 95% matching prospective signing rate of student-athletes, closing of half a million dollar deals for the benefit of education and opportunity in sport and most importantly the capacity of student-athletes to maintain and exceed higher-level education and performances from the NAIA to NCAA and NJCAA and professional levels. These milestones which laid the foundation for TUAC from its infancy in 2007 to maturation has since then morphed into a global, “bridging of the gap” potential with not only fellow charter school organizations, but international entities, colleges, and people groups abroad lacking the differentiation that TUAC has to offer through the combined ministry of academia, athletics/sports, arts, and apprenticeship as an educational tool for amateurs and professionals.
